Tim Cairo was a practicing attorney when he decided to take a left turn towards the film industry.

 In 2011 he completed a Masters of Fine Arts at The American Film Institute, where he received the David Pincus Award for screenwriting. After graduating, he began working for ESPN, Funny or Die, Bedrocket Media, Maker Studio, and many others. 

Tim has produced music videos for well known artists such as E-40, and Ab-Soul, as well as Grammy winners like Kendrick Lamar, and Hit-Boy. He also produced the acclaimed documentary ROAD TO REDEMPTION for Grammy-winner Jay Rock.

In the marketing world, Tim has helped create high-profile campaigns for THE WALKING DEAD, MARVEL, FORTNITE, STAR WARS, and many more. 

In 2017, Tim co-wrote and produced the critically acclaimed feature film, LOWLIFE which won multiple festival awards, including a Special Jury Prize and an audience award at Fantasia Fest. The film sold to IFC Midnight and had a successful theatrical run. 

Under the CAIRO PICTURES banner, Tim currently has movie projects set up at AGC Studios, David Goyer's Phantom Four Films, XYZ Films, RLJ Entertainment, Creekview Entertainment, Team  Win, and many more.
